Yelling News

This charming gastropub is a throwback to osterias in Little Italy before the area became “Nolita.” Silvana Creanza is chef, bartender and hostess. Share the Happy Plate with choices from an array of cheeses and salumi, along with a glass from a thoughtful selection of wines. Try the juicy meatballs or a variety of crostini, including ground prosciutto, marinated artichokes or white anchovies...

Slipping into the dimly-lit, brick-walled YN Bar offers a pleasant change of pace from the Soho bustle. The noticeably narrow space ensures you’ll probably meet at least one new face, and the after-work crowd of laid-back oenophiles is eager to chat, if only to recommend a favorite wine.
— New York Magazine
This intimate wine bar is one of our favorites in New York City, with its cozy interior and soft music.
— Thrillist
They serve up about 50 different wines and the list changes every few weeks.
— Eater
Brick walls and candlelight decorate this long, narrow wine bar. To eat, snack on cheeses and charcuterie from nearby Di Palo’s Fine Foods.
— Timeout
The vibe at YN Bar is supremely datey, with a quiet, narrow room that’s filled with locals and regulars — the bartenders will call out anytime a familiar face walks in. It’s exactly the kind of place you’d “stumble on” on your way to something else in Nolita, but very worthy of the pitstop. All the food comes from behind the bar (think Buvette), and the menu leans on salads, flatbreads, and a lot of veggies, but there’s a burger, too. Definitely get the white anchovy crostini. Definitely sit at the bar.
